Heroes Allied Health Occupational Therapists, based on the Sunshine Coast, believe that a person’s sense of self and well-being is influenced by the things they do that are important and meaningful to them. Illness or disability may impact a person’s ability to do these things.
Occupational Therapists are experts in enabling people to participate in their everyday activities of life such as self-care, education, work and leisure or social activities that are meaningful to them.
Through a range of assessments, Heroes Allied Health’s experienced Occupational Therapists provide an evidence-based and personalised approach to develop an understanding of our clients’ needs and goals to identify the issues or obstacles preventing them from participating in their everyday activities.
Heroes Allied Health Occupational Therapists assist with a range of therapies, interventions and evidence-based services to support individuals to live with improved independence and wellbeing by either enhancing their personal skills, modifying the environment or adjusting the activities.
Our Occupational Therapists can assess the needs and supports required for an individual’s living arrangements and make recommendations for Supported Independent Living (SIL) or Individualised Living Options (ILO).
Whilst Heroes Allied Health clinicians provide mostly in-home services, therapy rooms are also available in the Noosa office and limited Telehealth services are an option in certain circumstances.
At Heroes Allied Health, we pride ourselves on the exceptionally high quality of service that we provide to our clients.
We go above and beyond by empathetically listening, prioritising the goals of our clients and addressing their clinical needs.
We take a multidisciplinary approach to client care that incorporates our diverse clinical experience, which we share in our weekly team meetings to guide our clinical practice to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
