Heroes Allied Health Speech Pathologists work with adults across the Sunshine Coast and Gympie. They are experienced in assessing, diagnosing, and treating people with disordered speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication difficulties, and swallowing.
People who experience difficulties ingesting food and swallowing drinks safely (dysphagia) can be assessed by a Speech Pathologist, who can identify choking risks and develop a meal management plan.
Additionally, people with mild-severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders can be assessed and provided with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
We can also deliver a range of therapies and interventions for language and speech disorders.
Whilst Heroes Allied Health clinicians provide mostly in-home services, therapy rooms are also available in the Noosa office and limited Telehealth services are an option in certain circumstances.
At Heroes Allied Health, we pride ourselves on the exceptionally high quality of service that we provide to our clients.
We go above and beyond by empathetically listening, prioritising the goals of our clients and addressing their clinical needs.
We take a multidisciplinary approach to client care that incorporates our diverse clinical experience, which we share in our weekly team meetings to guide our clinical practice to ensure the best outcomes for our clients.
